• Main function of creams is to rejuvenate the skin (products are extremely powerful to get quick results)
• Ideal to prepare the skin before any removal system (peels, laser, microdermabrasion)
• Active ingredients to penetrate the dermis
• Very active, but safe because of Q10
• Creams contain: Co-Enzyme Q10 (pure form)
• Vitamins A, C, E (antioxidants neutralise the skin)
• Evening Primrose Oil and Aloe
• Studies show no reaction to Q10 when applied topically

Function of Q10:

• Helps transport energy & oxygen in cells therefore improving cell turnover
• By effect improving moisture content
• DNA production (reproduce healthy cells) therefore healthy collagen & elastin
• Found in every cell in body, but reduces with age
• Reaches mitochondria to attack free radicals which damages collagen, elastin and DNA
• Should use it topically and orally

Levels of Q10:

Day Cream contains 0.3%
Night Cream contains 0.6% (much stronger than day cream)
Nivea Q10 Cream contains 0.002%

Levels of Vitamin A:

45 000 (forty five thousand) IU per 50ml tube

Use:

• Use underneath creams or on its own to prevent further damage and repair cells
• Can use 2 tubes only or continue
• Someone needing to repair and rejuvenate skin
• For sun damage, post acne scarring, pigmentation, thick, tough skin
• Not for active acne or very sensitive skin (do patch test behind ear firstly)

Possible reactions:

• Retinoid reaction – red, hot, swelling, inflammation, spots, rash (happens to people who suffer from hayfever, fever blisters, compromised immune systems, sensitised skin from laser or peels)
• Eyes can tear/ water
• Tingling (introduce slowly, try every second night for the first week)
